Sandy Beach Pro Body Boarders July 4th compitition put on by USBA
It was hot Fourth of July at Sandy Beach Today! Both in the water and out! The day started with the amature bodyboarders hitting the waves early and heated up as the Pro's took to the waves at 12.00 noon.
Jason Bitzer founder of the USBA and a Pro Bodyboarder himself, put on a great venue on the Fourth of July Holiday weekend. Roberta Bitzer (Wife) who is also a womens body boarder Pro was on hand to direct the Womens Open amature body boarding compitition. After a few calls for amature women to join the roster the crowed pleased with several entrees getting in on the action. The winner took home a Milkshake Body Board.
"I loved it, it was fun" said Christin of California, we came to see what the blow Hole was like and we ended up down here, It's great! You guy's do this all the time?
I did notice the amount of "Turbo" boards out in the waves, first prize in open amatures was a milkshake board! Cool.
